SensaFoam™ F KB 55 is a liquid-form product suitable for personal care, beauty, and HI&I applications. It offers benefits such as cold processability, foam stability, and improved viscosity. As a secondary surfactant, it mitigates the irritancy of primary anionic surfactants without compromising on detergency, producing formulations that are milder to the skin. Also works well as a primary surfactant in very mild, sulfate-free formulations for babies and adults with sensitive skins and scalps.

  • SensaFoam™ F KB 55 is a biodegradable amphoteric surfactant, compatible with anionic, cationic and nonionic substances.
  • Low viscositiy aqueous solution (pumpable). Good foam properties, good foam quality (finely porous and stable) Skin and mucous membrane compatibility of common anionic surfactants that strongly reduce the quantity of cutaneous fat and are relatively aggressive towards skin and mucosa, are improved by addition of SensaFoam™ F KB 55. In hair and skin cleansing preparations, it can give a conditioning effect because of its substantivity.
  • SensaFoam™ F KB 55 contains 0.5% Sodium Benzoate.

  • shower and bath preparations
  • liquid soaps
  • intimate hygiene solutions.

Generally it is used in combination with anionic surfactants in a weight/weight ratio of 1 : 3 to 1 : 4. (SensaFoam™ F to anionic; related to active matter).
