It is shipped as a ~56% active viscous liquid, which gives the formulator advantages in reduced freight costs, lower in-plant handling expense, maximized storage efficiency, and the ability to produce more customized concentrated formulations. Certipol™ SLS 2010 P is a biodegradable 30% active anionic surfactant used for the manufacture of polymer emulsions. It is an excellent emulsifying and solubilizing agent. Its main utility is in the emulsion polymerization of such monomers as vinyl chloride, styrene-acrylic and styrene-butadiene.
